PhoenixCoat™ is designed to make the clear coat of older, faded vehicles look 80 to 90% better. For best results, we recommend using this product as follows:

  • On the exterior of a vehicle only
  • On panels that are between 50 to 90°F
  • In environments of less than 90% humidity
  • In a well-ventilated area
  • While wearing gloves / masks / PPE
  • Keeping the vehicle dry for 24 hours after applying
  • Practice on a small panel first before doing the entire vehicle

1. Prep / Wash

Cleaning and prep are key. Wash the area you're going to apply the product on with water and/or detailing spray. If your vehicle's clear coat is peeling or flaking, lightly sand the peeling edges with fine (wet) sandpaper to level and smooth them out, so the surface is even before application. Sand gently in one direction and avoid going too deep. After sanding, rinse away all sanding dust and let the area dry completely. Make sure the area is dry before application. Practice on a small section of a panel before applying to the rest of the vehicle.

2. Application

Shake the PhoenixCoat™ bottle with the cap on. Remove the seal beneath the cap. Apply the serum to a folded shop towel or micro applicator. Be sure to put enough product on the towel to keep a wet edge throughout your entire panel. We recommend keeping the bottle handy. If your towel starts to get dry during application, apply a bit more PhoenixCoat™ to keep the towel wet.

Start at the top corner of the panel to allow excess serum to drip down the panel. Hold the towel with a flat hand. Using light pressure, glide edge to edge across the panel. Go back and forth, overlapping the edges of your lines. Evenly disperse the product across the panel. If you miss a spot in the first 2 to 3 minutes, take a full, gentle line back through that area. Make sure you don't miss any spots, but don't go over a spot more than needed. You will have a 2 to 3 minute window to work with. DO NOT go back over an area after that time period.

Please note: if a significant mistake is made during application and you need to remove the coating, stripping it is much easier within 15 minutes of initial application. Within that 15-minute window, we recommend scrubbing the coating with Wax and Grease Remover. If you need to remove the coating after it has already cured, you will need to wet sand / heavy cut with a rotary or elbow grease using a heavy solvent. This is a long-lasting coating.

3. Curing / After-Care

The application needs 24 hours to cure. Do NOT touch the area or let it get wet for at least 24 hours after application. Once cured, you'll have a long-lasting coating. Note that the more product you apply, the longer it will take to cure. You can hand wash the vehicle 48 hours after application. We recommend you DO NOT take the vehicle through an automatic car wash after application. Auto washes are already known to scratch regular clear coat, so they can do the same to this coating.

Common Mistakes

  • Streak Lines: This can be caused by too many overlapping passes on the same area in direct sunlight, or applying in a random, obscure motion. Make sure you go in straight lines and try not to go over an area more than once. Be sure to keep a wet edge on your application towel.
  • Rainbowing or Excessive Low Spots: The main cause is NOT USING ENOUGH PRODUCT. Be sure you have enough on your towel. Using too much or uneven pressure is another issue to avoid. Apply with light, even pressure throughout the panel.
  • Fish Eyes / Solvent Pops: To avoid pops in the finish, make sure not to let the area get wet, wait 24 hours, and let the first layer cure for 24 hours before applying any additional layers.
  • Dirt Nibs: To avoid specks of dirt in the coating, the cleaning/prep step is KEY. If you have dirt in your finished result, you likely didn't prep well enough.

Apply it, judge the result in your own driveway. If your paint doesn't visibly come back to life within 30 days, we refund every cent. No return shipping, no questions, no hassle. You also get 24/7 support from real humans, before and after your order.

THE SCIENCE, SIMPLY

So how does it actually work?

Your clear coat is the invisible top layer that protects your paint's colour. UV, heat and oxidation gradually break it down, letting light scatter across the surface instead of reflect cleanly. That scatter is what "faded" actually looks like.

01

Penetrates the compromised clear coat

The serum's active resins seep into the microscopic voids left by oxidation.

02

Restores refractive clarity

Light now reflects cleanly off the surface again. That's the "wet look" returning, this time locked in.

03

Cures into a UV-resistant seal

Within 24 hours it hardens into a protective layer that shields your paint for 2+ years on average.

HONEST FIT CHECK

Who this is, and isn't, for

PhoenixCoat™ is built for faded, oxidised and swirled clear coat where the paint surface is still intact but has lost its clarity. It also revives dull trim and yellowed headlights, and helps mitigate the look of early clear coat peel.

Many drivers use it before committing to a full respray, and never end up needing one.

✓

Perfect for

  • ✓ Faded, oxidised or sun-damaged paint with intact clear coat
  • ✓ Sun-faded fiberglass, including RVs
  • ✓ Swirl marks and spider-web scratches killing your gloss
  • ✓ Dull trim and yellowed headlights
  • ✓ Making a car look sharp before selling it
✕

Not intended for

  • ✕ Deep scratches through to the base coat or metal
  • ✕ Panels where the clear coat is completely gone
  • ✕ Rust, dents or structural damage
BEFORE YOU CALL THE BODY SHOP

Don't let a respray quote take you for thousands

Most people assume a full respray is the only fix for faded paint. That's exactly why body shops quote $3,000 USD to $8,000USD without hesitation.

In reality, most faded panels don't need new paint. They need proper surface revival. PhoenixCoat™ brings back clarity, depth and gloss in minutes, for a fraction of the cost. No sanding, no repainting, no weeks off the road.

PHOENIXCOAT™ FULL RESPRAY

GOT SWIRLS?

Kill the spider webs, bring back the depth

Swirl marks and faded clear coat make your paint look tired even if the rest of the car is mint. Those fine spider-web scratches catch the light and flatten the depth your colour is supposed to have.

PhoenixCoat™ restores clarity and gloss instead of just covering it up. Colour depth and shine come back in minutes, without machines or expensive detailing work.

If your paint looks dull in direct sun, this is the fix.

We know what you're thinking…

Questions, answered straight

If your paint passes the wet test (it looks noticeably better when wet), then yes. That means your clear coat is faded but intact, which is exactly what PhoenixCoat™ revives. Works on all paint colours and all vehicle types.

Yes. We tested PhoenixCoat™ on a sun-faded fiberglass RV and the gloss came back, wiped on by hand, same as on paint. Do the wet test first: if the surface looks better wet, it can be revived. Big surfaces like an RV need several bottles, since each 100ml bottle covers about the size of a car hood.

If you can wipe a table, you can apply PhoenixCoat™. Clean the panel, pour a small amount onto the included pad, spread it evenly, let it cure. In-depth photo instructions ship with every kit.

2+ years on average, depending on sun exposure and how the vehicle is maintained. It cures into a protective layer, not a wax that washes off.

A respray replaces your paint; PhoenixCoat™ revives the paint you already have. For faded-but-intact clear coat, the visual result is comparable, at roughly 2% of the cost and none of the downtime.

You can drive shortly after applying. Just keep the panel dry and unwashed for the first 24 hours while it fully cures.

No. It's hand-applied with no machines and no abrasives, so there's nothing to burn through or swirl. Worst case with uneven application is a patchy look, which a quick second wipe fixes.

Each bottle is 100ml. That's enough to cover a hood, a roof, or roughly two door panels with a correct thin application.

ONE AFTERNOON. TWO YEARS OF GLOSS.

Your paint isn't dead.
It's waiting to be revived.

Do the wet test today. If it looks good wet, PhoenixCoat™ will bring it back for years. Guaranteed, or your money back.
